GUPPY - THE LIFEGUARD SHACK

GUPPY - THE LIFEGUARD SHACK

Spending a little time in 940 Crowe and actually had supper and chatted with the girls over facebook from Girl Camp Canada while having supper in here.  The dogs certainly like all the sofa room there is to stretch out and lounge in with the two single bed - the wide table is ok for now but I think a longer thinner 'woody surf board' would work better down the road.

Cali Out.... 940 Crowe In....

For less than a month I had the 1968 Serro Scotty Gaucho on the right and was able to do a little restoration job to her curb side bum that had some seam separation; and did a bit of fluffy up inside by adding back cushions, curtains and some vintage personality.  It arrived at it's new owners house today as a surprise.

PIP - the Boler

She's almost finished - took the fall to sand her down and the spring to paint her up.  Still needs her top coat of white but she sure is a difference from the mess in a dress she was when I was patching her fiberglass.  She was destined to be a shop on wheels but the Cellar Relics carport sale was so successful that the inventory is depleted and Pip just sits, waiting for a new owner to make her a little shop on wheels or a sleeper camper inside.

Scotty Bolers Muskoka Store....

I spent the morning tearing out the front end of Bob, not knowing what was in store for me in the afternoon.  As of 4pm today, having just returned from being knee deep in snow, I now find myself all eyes on this link as I learn about the little '76 Boler I just picked up an hour ago....

The link is a great starting spot for me as I'll need to know about converting this little trailer into my mobile lemon aid stand/vintage cottage store on wheels.  Woo Hoo - what a great way to start the year!  It already has the back end converted into a mobile icecream/cupcake window so I'm already halfway there!

Going to have to bookmark this site too as I'm sure I'll have a zillion questions on how to restore this little puppy:

Little Geet Moves On Once Again

Trudy & her hubby added a back end, new break lights and a new name to Geet during the fall of 2013 - "Frankie" sprung a leak that still needs sourcing out and lost her front lower aluminum 'chest plate' during an extreme windstorm while being towed on the highway in November.  But 'Frankie/Geet' was a little spot for Trudy to have her tea in and enjoy until a Shasta and another very rare Scotty entered Trudy's life, so little Frankie/Geet started looking for a new owner.  She found one.  Nancy(another Girl Camp Canada girl) wanted her so Geet will get another new name "Lily Belle"

This is "TRAILER LOVE"

BOB IS A BUCKET OF BOLTS AND SMELLY BUT HE'S GETTING AIRED OUT, TORN DOWN AND REBUILT

BUT NOT BEFORE I PAINT HIM TO MATCH HIS LITTLE SISTERS.
MY LITTLE FLEET OF SCOTTY'S
13' GAUCHO
14' FRONT KITCHEN
15' HIGHLANDER
(AND THEN THERE WERE THREE...WHILE IT LASTED...)

As the September Days Draw to A Close, Geet finds Trudy...

It is with mixed emotion that Geet leaves my life.  She was my first interior design remodel and I enjoyed every little frustration minute of it.  I'm keeping the sign but sending this little tin can on her way to Cumberland Beach, Ontario
